AMCAPS is a platform dedicated to promoting creativity among the medical students of Ameer-ud-Din Medical College. It seeks to become primary outlet for students who want to express themselves in different forms and polish their skills thereby streamlining their creative zeal towards meaningful end products. AMCAPS take part in various intercollegiate arts& photography competitions throughout the year. Following the trend, this year Amcaps took part in Cpmc Arts Olympaid, Punjab Youth Festival, Shalimar Arts Olympaid, AIMC poster competition, AIMC architectural photography contest and has the previlige to won many awards. Khurram Khaliq won 2nd position in Cpmc arts olympaid; 3rd position in Shalimar arts olympaid and has received Bronze medal in Aimc photography contest. Ubaid ur Rehman won 1st position in Cpmc arts olympaid. M.Luqman achieved 3rd position in Punjab Youth Festival as well as in cpmc arts olympaid. He got gold medal in Aimc poster competition. Ameena won silver medal in Aimc poster competition. Faisal Naeem from 2nd year also won silver medal for poster competition. Huda Khan was given 1st position In calligraphy exhibition held at cpmc arts olympaid. Apart from this, Amcaps organizes and hosts various events that highlight the importance of arts and photography work. The events include Annual Intercollegiate Arts & Photography Exhibition, live painting, live photography and minute to win it. Amcaps is responsible for the arrangement of heavenly decor work of the college events and also covers the events being held in college premises.
In nearby future Amcaps hope to arrange photo walk and still life sketching and painting. Amcaps motive is to live, breathe and work to promote art of photography!
