Ameer-ud-Din Literary Society

Ameer-ud-din literary society intends to develop, encourage and promote literary taste among students. It aims to connect the student body with literature It is established to provide pupils a platform to exhibit their talents in the field of writing and the world of intellect. It helps to stimulate worthy minds of students and to promote knowledge, literature, intellect and writing skills among students. LS has been engaging students in the different competitive events for the past three years. Like the yester years, LS has organized Quiz competition ,essay and creative writing competition, mushaira and Iqbal day. This year position holders of the events were encouraged, appreciated and were given shields and certificates. LS has been motivating students of AMC to represent their college in other universities and colleges. Members of LS participated in Intercollegiate AIMC and KEMU quiz competition and Chief Minister Youth Mobilization Committee (CMYMC) Essay Writing Competition. Last year our coordinators "Rosheen Aftab " attained 8th position in CMYMC essay writing competition  and "Khalil Ahmad" stood 11th in the same event. Our biggest accomplishment is that it this year LS has provided students the opportunity to step into the competition with other colleges and universities and This is possible due to the collaborative efforts of office bearers of LS under the kind and supportive leadership of Prof. Dr. Najam ul Hasnain Khan. This society is further hoping to continue the trend of arranging healthy and intellectual competitions and is ambitious to introduce some events in the coming years. It will Inshallah continue propagating the name of Ameer-ud-Din College in the world.
