Debating Society

DSA's main aim is to promote oratory and linguistic skills in the students. The society holds weekly camps in which it trains students in the art of public speaking in both English and urdu. The society takes part in various inter collegiate events where it represents the college and helps in propagating the name of the college in others good books. The society consists of 3 subdivision, Parliamentary style speaking, Declamatory style speaking and Model United Nations style diplomatic meets. The society has also organized intra collegiate Declamation competitions. In the future the society aims to hold an intra Collegiate British parliamentary style event and an Intercollegiate Asian Parliamentary style event. In 2015 the society organized 1st Intra-Collegiate British Parliamentary Debating Championship, in which more than 18 teams participated. The Society also organized 3rd Annual Intra-Collegiate Declamation. The Members of the society took active part in various Inter-Collegiate Debating Competitions all over the country and made their way into quarter finals, semi finals and Finals of many crucial competitions like University of Lahore, Forman Christian University, LGS Kabana 55 Main, UET, Allama Iqbal Medical College etc. The Society will continue to make AMC proud by bringing more victories in Debating Circle.
